Helping Nature Thrive in the North West

01/05/26 - To make the most of the recent planting season, SDA is proud to have once again sponsored an ongoing tree-planting programme. Working in partnership with the Woodland Trust, our Partner John Cosgrove has coordinated the planting of 250 new saplings this year — building on the 1,000 native broad-leaved trees planted in 2023.

In addition, John has collaborated with Ribble Rivers Trust to reinstate two historic ponds, helping to support flood mitigation while enhancing local biodiversity.

It’s great to see these projects come together and play a small part in making a positive, lasting difference to the landscape and local environment.
