19/05/22 - We are delighted that the multi-phase housing development and regeneration scheme, Poets Estate in Swinton, is the winner of Regeneration Scheme of the Year at the Northern Housing Awards. Developed for Salix Homes, this mixed tenure development has delivered new 160 units in total, comprising 120 new social housing properties for rent plus 40 homes for outright sale. The development commenced construction five years ago with a series of phases completed sequentially so those affected by the demolition proposals could be given priority and moved back into the new-build properties. Our team provided continuity of services to Salix throughout design and construction of all phases acting as Project Manager, Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyor and Clerk of Works. Judged by a panel of industry experts, we are proud that this fully occupied development has both won this award and is breathing new life into the Beech Farm area in Swinton
