New Performing Arts Centre Completes

18/10/23 - Our team have been busy with numerous education project handovers ready for the new academic year including a new Performing Arts Centre at Wigan and Leigh College and University Centre. The new facility offers a brand new 130 seat theatre with retractable seating, production standard stage and lighting rigs. Dancers have access to two new purpose built sprung floor studios and music students work in new soundproofed recording studios, practical classrooms and rehearsal spaces. The Centre was constructed by Greenmount Projects and designed by Seven Architecture. SDA acted as Quantity Surveyor and Contract Administrator on the scheme. The same team also handed over a new Institute of Technology and Learning Resource Centre as the College seeks to ensure its students are developing their talent and skills in the very best environment.
